Corley Named Director of Alumni Affairs
Devanna (Lambert) Corley of Fairmont has been named director of alumni affairs for
Fairmont State University. In this position, she serves as a liaison between the university
and its alumni “ building relationships, assisting with events and acting as a resource
to chapters. Corley also acts as the institutional liaison with the Fairmont State
Alumni Association Board of Directors. The Fairmont State Alumni Association is a
private, 501 (c)(3) dedicated to the advancement of Fairmont State University.
Corley will work from the Charlie O. Erickson Alumni Center under the direction of
K. Jean Ahwesh, vice president for institutional advancement and executive director
of the Fairmont State Foundation, Inc.

Fairmont State University is irrepressible. She has deep ties to the community and
the institution. Under her direction we expect continued growth and renewal in alumni
programming and services," said Ahwesh.
Prior to joining the FSU staff, Corley was the director of marketing for Mountain
State Auto Auction. Her previous work experience includes marketing coordinator for
the West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation, Inc., specifically working
on a Department of Defense program, DoD TechMatch.
Raised in Monongah, Corley earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and management
from Fairmont State College in 1997. She resides in Fairmont with her husband, Tony,
and their two children, Brandon, 6, and Kayla Jo, 5.
