Back to School Music Festival on Sept. 5

Fairmont State University Student Government and the Black Student Union are presenting a Back to School Music Festival at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, in the Colebank Hall gymnasium.

Performers include local singer Michael Stewart, The New Relics, The Davisson Brothers and Miami rap artist D Shep. Tickets are free for FSU students and $5 for the general public. For tickets, call (304) 367-4240.

Singed to independent record label The Conspiracy in 2005, D Shep has become the next rapper to follow in Miami's up and coming hip-hop/rap movement. For more information, visit D Shep's page at myspace.com.
