Students Create Virginia Tech Quilt
Jun 06, 2007
In remembrance of the tragedy at Virginia Tech University and to offer a memorial
to the victims, education and art education students and faculty members at Fairmont
State University have created a memorial quilt.
The quilt will be presented by the FSU Education Department to the Virginia Tech Education
Department.
Materials for the quilt were donated. Each student designed quilt pieces of primary,
secondary and complementary colors, including Virginia Tech's school colors of Burnt
Orange and Chicago Maroon. The quilt pieces are made of ribbons, logos, peace signs,
symbols, hearts and more.
