FSU SUMMER HOURS

Fairmont State University, including Pierpont Community & Technical College, will observe a summer four-day work week through Friday, Aug. 10.

Main campus offices, the Merchant Street Center in Fairmont and the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and will be closed on Fridays.

Certain essential positions, such as construction and grounds workers, will work a regular five-day week. The Ruth Ann Musick Library and the Department of Public Safety will continue to follow a regular work schedule. The Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center in Bridgeport; the Center for Workforce Education and the Small Business Development Center in Veterans' Square in downtown Fairmont; and the Lewis County Center at Lewis County High School will also operate on a five-day schedule.

The Nickel in the Falcon Center will be closed Friday, May 18, through Sunday, June 17. Beginning Monday, June 18, the Nickel will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

The Dining Hall in the Falcon Center will be open for breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Dinner will only be provided for summer session board plan students and pre-registered summer conference participants.
