PDS Partnership Represented at Conference
Five university and public school educators recently presented at the National Professional
Development School Conference in Las Vegas.
The presentation was the first representing the Fairmont State University/ Professional
Development School Partnership, which integrates professional teaching practices in
public schools with professional teacher preparation programs in colleges and universities
to enhance the quality of both. The FSU/PDS Partnership currently works with Marion
County's Jayenne Elementary, Fairview Elementary and the new West Fairmont Middle
School.
A total of 13 area educators represented the FSU/PDS at the conference.
