Celebration of Student Scholarship April 18

The first annual Celebration of Student Scholarship is planned for Wednesday, April 18, in the Falcon Center Conference Rooms. The event, which begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 3:45 p.m., is sponsored by the Office of Research & Graduate Studies, the Undergraduate Research Program, the Honors Program and the Office of Academic Affairs.

The event is intended to showcase the creative work of students in a broad array of disciplines with a special, dedicated day. Another purpose is to recognize those faculty mentors whose guidance has helped students reach their academic goals. Student efforts reflect the importance of independent, discipline-specific research as an exceptional learning experience.
