Actors Needed for Summer Shows

Fairmont State University's Town & Gown summer theatre productions are in need of actors for two shows this summer.

Linda O'Connor will direct "Greater Tuna." Audition dates are April 23 and 24 from 7:15 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Room 207 of Wallman Hall. O'Connor is casting two actors who will play more than 30 roles. Prepared monologues or readings from the script may be performed for auditions. Copies of the script are available in the School of Fine Arts Office, Room 304, Wallman Hall. Show dates are June 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17.

"Fiddler on the Roof," directed by Troy Snyder and Dr. Valarie Huffman, needs actors for more than 40 principal and chorus roles for all ages, including children. Singing auditions are April 22 and 23; dance auditions and call-backs are April 24. All auditions for "Fiddler" will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Wallman Hall. Those interested should call (304) 367-4203 to make an audition appointment. Those participating in auditions should have a prepared song (Broadway show music preferred or a song from "Fiddler on the Roof") and provide music for an accompanist. They should also wear clothing suitable for singing and movement. Show dates are June 29 and 30 and July 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
