Valentine's Dinner Dance Planned

The Fairmont State University Jazz Ensemble and Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity are sponsoring the second annual Valentine's Dinner Dance on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, in the Turley Center Ballroom.

The cost for dinner is $22 per person or $40 per couple. Dinner is catered by Aladdin Food Management Services and will consist of buffet-style dinner choices of Chicken Cordon Bleu, Tortellini Alfredo, Caesar and fruit salads, corn, broccoli, new potatoes, and for dessert, cheesecake and chocolate confusion cake. Following dinner, audience members can dance the night away with the sounds of the FSU Jazz Ensemble performing a wide variety of dance music from the Big-Band Era through the sounds of the '70s, '80s and '90s.

Pre-paid reservations only will be taken in advance beginning Dec. 11 by calling the Fairmont State Box Office at (304) 367-4240 or stopping by the office in Wallman Hall. The deadline for reservations will be Jan. 31, 2007. The Box Office will be closed from Dec. 16 to Jan. 15. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the FSU Jazz Ensemble and Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity.
