Bacza Honored by Epsilon Pi Tau

May 23, 2006

Dr. Gerald "Jerry" Bacza, chair, coordinator and drafting and design professor in the Fairmont State Community & Technical College School of Business, Aviation and Technology, was recently honored as one of the Heroes of Epsilon Pi Tau, the International Honor Society for Professions in Technology.

Bacza received the honor upon the retirement of Epsilon Pi Tau Executive Director Dr. Jerry Streichler. Bacza, who served on the society's board of directors during Streichler's tenure, was recognized along with 19 other board members whom Streichler said, "bravely and confidently maintained an environment that encouraged organizational responses to changes taking place in the professions in technology."

"This enabled Epsilon Pi Tau to stay well ahead of the curve to expand its vision and scope of service," Streichler said.
