Math Faculty Attend Conference
Fairmont State Community & Technical College professors Dr. Lalah Larew and Craig
                        Shanholtzer presented "Mentoring=W^3 (Win, Win, Win)" during the state meeting of
                        the West Virginia Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges at the Fairmont State
                        Gaston Caperton Center earlier this month.
                        
                        	Other presenters included Dr. Robert Mayes, Dr. Laura Pyzdrowski and Dr. Robin Hensel
                        from West Virginia University; Dr. Anthony Pyzdrowski from California State University
                        in Pennsylvania and Dr. Mike Anderson from WVU. The keynote speaker for the meeting
                        was Dr. Michael Bartlett from the University of Wisconsin-Marinette. His topic was
                        "Why Should I Study Math?"
                        
                        	The committee for the conference included Larew, Hensel and Fairmont State professors
                        Linda King and Dr. Susan Goodwin. King is the current president of WVMATYC.
