School of Fine Arts to Give Activity Stipends
The Fairmont State School of Fine Arts will award 40 Activity Stipends to new and
continuing students in art, music and theatre. Applications are available in the School
of Fine Arts office, Room 304, Wallman Hall.
The awards are $500 for the academic year or $250 for one semester. Activities include
Masquers theatre productions, Collegiate Singers, Marching Band and Wind Ensemble,
Art Gallery and Kappa Pi activities, as well as Debate and Forensics activities. Continuation
of awards will depend upon the student's participation for the term of the award.
They may be canceled if the student fails to engage in the stipulated activities within
the School of Fine Arts. The awards will be reviewed each semester and first awarded
for the fall 2006 semester.
Interested students must fill out the application and submit a copy of their resume
