Campus Visitation Day Is March 25
Fairmont State will host a Campus Visitation Day on Saturday, March 25, for high school
students, their families and adults who are deciding where to continue or to start
their education.
"We strongly encourage those of all ages who are considering Fairmont State to attend
our program. Campus Visitation Day is a good opportunity to get to know us," said
Steve Leadman, Director of Admissions and Recruiting.
"Fairmont State offers graduate programs, more than 90 four-year majors, more than
50 two-year majors, plus one-year certificates and skill-set certificates. We want
to help you find your future."
The event on Fairmont State's main campus will begin at 9 a.m. with check-in and
refreshments in the new Falcon Center. FSU President Daniel J. Bradley and FSC&TC
President Blair Montgomery will give a welcome, followed by an academic fair and other
informative sessions. Those attending will have the opportunity to visit with faculty
members and receive information on admissions, financial aid and housing. Tours of
campus will be offered throughout the morning and afternoon. Current students and
their parents will host discussion panels to answer the questions of prospective students
and their families.
After a free lunch, participants who wish to tour the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace
Education Center in Bridgeport or the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg may do
so. A separate registration is required for these tours.
