Visiting Professor to Give Talk on Writing
Dr. Marilyn Button, Professor of English at Lincoln University in Philadelphia, will
give a talk on writing titled "Enigma in Many Keys: From Oral History to Published
Memoir" at noon Monday, Nov. 14, in Jaynes Hall Room 306.
Button helped her father Robert Button tell the story of his World War II experiences
in his recently published memoir "Enigma in Many Keys." His experiences are remarkable,
especially because he worked as an American liaison officer with British Intelligence
at Bletchley Park, helping to decode Nazi war communications.
Button's talk is sponsored by Fairmont State's Veteran's History Project and is free
and open to the public.
