Community Can Sign Up for Fitness Programs
Fairmont State is offering the community an opportunity to enjoy fitness programs
in the Falcon Center and in Colebank Hall.
The public can sign up for the Walking Program at the Falcon Center to walk on the
state-of-the art padded track. Five laps around the track make a mile. The price for
participating in the Walking Program, which includes track privileges only, will be
$60 per semester. (Semesters are fall, spring and summer.) The facility is open during
the following hours for walking: Mondays through Thursdays, 6 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; Fridays,
6 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturdays, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sundays, 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m.
Also offered to the public will be a Fitness Pass offering a variety of classes for
$60 from Oct. 3 through Dec. 9. The cost includes parking on campus. The Fitness Pass
offers the community the opportunity to come to any and all of the following classes:
spinning, cardio challenge, step/strength, yoga and water aerobics. Classes will be
held in the Colebank Hall gym, and parking is available in the parking garage.
Fitness classes will be offered at the following times:
Spinning: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Step/strength: Mondays, Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m.
Cardio challenge: Tuesdays, Thursdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Yoga: Tuesdays, Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Water aerobics: Tuesday, Thursdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
