FS to Participate in Main St. Fairmont Celebration
The Fairmont State instrumental ensembles will perform a concert as part of the Main
Street Fairmont Holiday Celebration beginning at noon, Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Marion
County Courthouse.
The Wind Ensemble is under the baton of Dr. Valarie Huffman, Director of Bands, and
is assisted by Jonathan Burbank, Adjunct Professor of Music.
Other Fairmont State ensembles performing at the courthouse will be the Tuba/Euphonium
Ensemble under the direction of Professor of Music John Schooley, the Percussion Ensemble
under the direction of Burbank, the Brass Quintet under the direction of Huffman and
the African Ensemble under the direction of Burbank.
