Dec. 15 and continues through January 15, 2005. On-site registration is scheduled

and guitar. Class instruction is available on Wednesdays for Beginner Piano levels
ages 6-8.
Students may select private instruction on any instrument. Private lessons are registered
for 13 sessions beginning the week of January 17. All classes and lessons are held
in Wallman Hall on the Fairmont State campus. Students in the program may choose recital
performances through high school. Adults do not participate in the recital programs.
All teachers are certified in their area of expertise with a master's degree in performance

Students may prepare for auditions as well as study for the enjoyment of music, for
the development of musical abilities or for exposure to a variety of musical instruments.

together with techniques for performing and studying repertoire. All styles of music
are taught, including classical, jazz, rock, blues and folk among others. There are
no waiting lists. Students can begin immediately with the teacher of their choice.
The program currently has an enrollment of about 95 students and has a faculty of
13 instructors.
