WEATHER ALERT - All campuses closed on Tues. Jan. 7.

To allow for additional time for snow removal and to ensure the safety of our employees, the University (all campuses) will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Tomorrow (1/7/25), campus recreation will be closed. The dining hall will be open for continental breakfast from 10 - 11 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m.  - 1 p.m., and dinner from 5 - 6 p.m. 

In addition to essential employees, some others may have tasks that require them to work remotely. Contact your supervisor with any questions and monitor email as necessary.  

Additional weather updates will be communicated through our emergency alert system, social media, and the University website.

By collaborating with the American Democracy Project, the institute contributes to a broader effort to strengthen democratic practices and improve civic literacy across the Fairmont State University Campus and the broader Fairmont community
