QuickBooks 2005 Workshop Offered

Aug 23, 2005

Small business owners can attend a QuickBooks 2005 workshop to learn how to automate tasks they are already performing -- such as invoicing customers, recording payments, paying bills, managing inventory and more.

A two-day QuickBooks 2005 workshop is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 27-28 at the Fairmont State Community & Technical College Center for Workforce Education at Veterans Square, 320 Adams St., Suite GO1, Fairmont. This training session is open to the public and is being conducted by the FSC&TC Regional Small Business Development Center.

As the class is limited to 10 people, those interested in attending the seminar should pre-register by calling (304) 367-4920. Cost for the workshop is $350. A pre-registration fee of $100 is required. The registration fee may be eligible for reimbursement through the Small Business Workforce grant program.

The SBDC is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, although such funding does not constitute an expressed or implied endorsement of any of the co-sponsors or participants opinions, products or services. All SBDC workshops are co-sponsored by the West Virginia Development Office. Special arrangements for the handicapped can be made by contacting the SBDC at least one week in advance.

The events sponsored by the SBDC are regularly updated on the Fairmont State web site at: http://www.fairmontstate.edu/sbdc/. Other statewide SBDC events are also listed at http://www.sbdcwv.org/.
