Fairmont State University is currently engaging in an applicant search for the alumni relations director position. Fairmont State has had great talent in the past in this position, and looks forward to continued success of the Alumni Association under the leadership of the director of alumni relations. The successful candidate will work to grow and engage the Falcon alumni network as the University transitions back to normal operations following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The person who holds this position will not only become a true partner with our Executive Leadership Team, but he or she will also help nurture relationships and partnerships that will, literally, impact the Falcon Family for years and years.”
The University will look to the director of alumni relations to provide leadership and vision to the Office of Alumni that is strategic, operationally efficient, effective and impactful. The successful candidate will partner with the University’s Executive Leadership Team and the Fairmont State Foundation to develop an alumni outreach plan that addresses the opportunities and challenges to attract alumni.
The Fairmont State alumni relations director reports to the director of career development, and works in conjunction with the Office of the President and University Relations and Marketing.
