New Student Orientation Impact

New Student Orientation

As a new Fairmont State University student, you are required to attend New Student Orientation. We offer multiple on-campus orientation events to conveniently fit your schedule.

New Student Orientation is where you will officially become a student at Fairmont State University. This program will introduce you to our campus, services, programs, and academics. Additionally, New Student Orientation is where you will get your Spring or Fall class schedule. Even though classes have not started yet,  your college journey starts today. We understand that the transition from home to college can sometimes be difficult. That’s why our orientation program is specially-designed to help ease your transition into life at Fairmont State, and ensure that you have all the information you need to have a successful start to your college journey!

During orientation, you will be able to obtain your Falcon ID card, class schedule, and learn about the numerous resources that Fairmont State University has in store for you to ensure your success inside and outside of the classroom.

Come with us and get ready to SOAR at New Student Orientation.
Again, welcome to our newest Falcons!
