The Master of Arts in National Security and Intelligence (MA NSI) provides a strong foundation in the missions, structure, and tradecraft of the national security and intelligence community, and an intense focus on both current and emerging global security issues.  This program will enable you to develop and apply rigorous analytical techniques to complex national security issues, and key skills for the leadership and ethical expectations you will face throughout your career.

The MA in NSI was designed and is taught by national security and intelligence experts who have decades of extensive real-world experience with the Central Intelligence Agency, the Department of State, Defense Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Security Council, and other international security and intelligence organizations.

From now through 2026, it is estimated that the national security and intelligence sector will require nearly 100,000 new employees. Most of these positions will require graduate-level experience in a directly applicable field.
