Master of Business Administration Impact

Master of Business Administration

The accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is a 36-credit hour residential program with a focus on real-world practice. The program prepares students to apply concepts and principles of various business disciplines to become effective in management positions. Students can choose a “fast track” and earn their MBA degree in just 12 months from August to July. The program is designed to accommodate both business and non-business undergraduate students.

Areas of Emphasis

Students can choose to earn an MBA with an area of emphasis in one of the following areas:

Cybersecurity Management

Human Resources Management

Project Management

Program Outcomes

MBA program graduates will demonstrate

  • the conceptual acumen to make complex and ethical decisions
  • analytical and technical skills to solve problems
  • communication competence across various business settings
  • interpersonal aptitude to effectively lead an organization

Admissions Requirements

Professional Opportunities

Students who have earned an undergraduate business degree learn the skills they need to succeed in business.  It may mean starting in positions just a step below management.  However, a Master of Business Administration can set graduates up for higher positions within a corporation. U.S. News & World Report lists the following as top positions for MBA graduates:

  • Marketing Manager
  • Management Analyst
  • Human Resource Specialist
  • Financial Advisor
