Transcripts/Credentials

Current and former students can submit a transcript request to the Turley Student Services Center using the online Transcript Request.  Fairmont State University does not produce unofficial transcripts. 

A transcript is a complete record of a student’s enrollment at Fairmont State University. This includes all undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education courses. Partial transcripts are not available. 

Printed transcripts may not be picked up by another party unless the student has given authorization with the request. The designated person will be expected to show a picture I.D. upon collection.

The cost of an official transcript via mail or secure PDF is $10. Additional RUSH charges may apply. 

Fairmont State University has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to produce enrollment verifications.  In order to produce an enrollment verification please log into myFairmontState, then click on "Enrollment Verification" under 'Student Links'.

Students who do not have a social security number may request an Enrollment Verification Letter by visiting the Turley Student Services Center or emailing studentservices@fairmontstate.edu. 

Fairmont State University has also partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to work with degree verifications.  This service is designed for potential employers, recruiters and background search firms.  Requests should be submitted directly at the Student Clearing House website.
