Tracts' Highlights Students' Work

Oct 24, 2005

The annual edition of "Tracts: A Journal of Student Scholarship," a publication featuring academic and scholarly papers produced by Fairmont State students, is now available.
Receptive to all fields of study and to a variety of topics, the 2005 edition of "Tracts" continues the publication of excellent student work begun under Professor John Woznicki. This year "Tracts" includes work of students who presented at Fairmont State's Creativity and Scholarship Symposium coordinated by Professors Dede Burnell, Pam Huggins and Fran Kirk and sponsored by the Honors Program in April.
"The essays and research summaries reflect the admirable good work done by students in various disciplines at Fairmont State," said J. Robert Baker, Professor of English. "Tracts" itself is an invaluable part of our institution because it calls attention to and celebrates such good work."
