Swim Lessons, Public Swim Times Offered
Fairmont State is offering fall swim lessons and weekend general swim times for the
public at its new Student Activity Center.
The cost for swim lessons is $40 for those with an affiliation with FS and $50 for
those without an FS affiliation. Sign-ups begin Monday, Aug. 22, at 8 a.m. Payment
is expected at the time of sign-up, and children may be registered for one session
only.

Session A will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays on Sept. 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and
28 and Oct. 3 and 5. Oct. 10 will be a make-up day. The following levels of classes
will be offered from 6-6:40 p.m.: Parent/Child 1, Level 1 and Level 2. The following
levels of classes will be offered from 6:50-7:30 p.m.: Parent/Child 2, Level 3, Level
4.
Session B will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays on Sept. 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and
29 and Oct. 4 and 6. Oct. 11 will be a make-up day. The following levels of classes
will be offered from 6-6:40 p.m.: Parent/Child 2, Level 2, Level 3. The following
levels of classes will be offered from 6:50-7:30 p.m.: Level 1, Level 4.
Session C will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays on Oct. 17, 19, 24 and 26 and
Nov. 2, 7, 9 and 14. Nov. 16 will be a make-up day. The following levels of classes
will be offered from 6-6:40 p.m.: Parent/Child 2, Level 1, Level 2. The following
levels of classes will be offered from 6:50-7:30 p.m.: Parent/Child 1, Level 3, Level
4.
Session D will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays on Oct. 18, 20, 25 and 27 and
Nov. 1, 3, 8 and 10. Nov. 15 will be a make-up day. The following levels of classes
will be offered from 6-6:40 p.m.: Parent/Child 2, Level 1, Level 4. The following
levels of classes will be offered from 6:50-7:30 p.m.: Level 2, Level 3.
Friday night and Sunday afternoon general swim times will also be offered to the public
at the Student Activity Center pool. The cost will be $3 per person with those 3 and
younger admitted for free.
