Reception to Honor Business & Industry Commitment

Fairmont State University, Fairmont State Community & Technical College and the Fairmont State Foundation, Inc., will hold a recognition reception for special business and industry partners on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center.

They all recognize the deep connection between excellence in higher education and increased economic opportunity and development. We are honored that each organization has committed valuable resources to the betterment of our community to the continued vision and mission of Daniel Bradley and Blair Montgomery.”

innovation and influence partners will receive charter membership in Fairmont State’s new Column Society and as partners in education will receive priority access to the full support and service of Fairmont State’s Center for Workforce Education.

Fairmont State will also recognize Delbert “Butch” Phillips, Chair, innovation and influence: Business and Industry for Fairmont State, for securing the initial leadership gift of this campaign as well as facilitating mutually advantageous partnerships within the business community.

The mission of the Fairmont State Foundation, Inc., is to support, through ethical stewardship, the mission of Fairmont State University and Fairmont State Community & Technical College. The Foundation identifies, establishes and cultivates meaningful relationships with Fairmont State alumni and potential and existing funding constituencies to meet contributor needs while securing funds and supporters for priority objectives identified by its Board of Directors.
