The Fairmont State University American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter completed a grueling three days of competition at the ASCE’s 24th annual National Concrete Canoe Competition over the weekend of June 16 in Evansville, Ind.

Fairmont State University faculty member Tia M. Como has been awarded the 2011 American Society of Civil Engineers Region 4 Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award.

A gift from Thrasher Engineering, Inc. to the Fairmont State Foundation, Inc. will directly impact the educational experience of Fairmont State University students in the Department of Technology.
