Fairmont State University’s outstanding faculty members were recognized on Wednesday, April 23, during the Recognition of Faculty Achievement for their exemplary efforts throughout the 2013-2014 academic year.
Fairmont State University and TCAC Inc. will present a multi-faceted interactive light exhibition showcasing the talent of students. The show "ColorKaleiD: Theories & Elements of Design" ("color - collide") will be on display Friday, April 25, through Sunday, May 11, at Gallery 62 West in Grafton. An opening reception is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the gallery in Grafton.
About 350 students will participate in Spring Commencement for Fairmont State University at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, in the Feaster Center. Video from the ceremony will be streamed live at www.fairmontstate.edu/live.

At its annual Commissioners Banquet held on April 2 at the Bridgeport Conference Center, WVDOT Secretary/Commissioner of Transportation Paul Mattox presented $1,500 scholarships to George Lynch of Fairmont State and to Brandon LeRoy and Guadalupe Leon, both of West Virginia University.

The NASA IV & V Educator Resource Center coordinates the statewide tournament that has been hosted in Fairmont by Fairmont State University’s College of Science and Technology.
