The Falcon Center is the hub for dining, recreation, and intramural activities and club sports. There are 24 sports offered, including softball, flag football, backgammon, and horseshoes.
The Fairmont State University experience consists of academic exploration and social participation. A combination of departments provide extracurricular activities to enhance campus life. Over 45 various student organizations and clubs are available on campus. The options range from joining student government, professional and honor societies, and Greek Life to participating in intramural sports or other clubs or organizations. Both on-campus and commuter students are kept in mind when campus life activities are organized, so every student has an opportunity to get involved.
Student Activities plans and carries out weekly events for students, such as Paint Nights, Make & Takes, Black History Month, and Homecoming festivities. There is no extra cost to attend and you might just walk away with some FREE stuff! Student Activities also works with the All-Greek Council for Greek Life activities such as Greek Week and regular community service opportunities. Follow @FairmontStateSA on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook to stay up to date on what's going on.
The Residence Hall should be your "home away from home." Residence Life assistants plan and carry out scholarly, holiday, and just-for-fun events year round in the Halls.
Student support departments are available through Campus Life. Take advantage of the career development center, dining services, and campus card services.
Student wellness is a vital part of Fairmont State University's Campus Life. Services include counseling services, disability services, and health services.
