Fairmont Installment Plan Service (FIPS)

• Fairmont State University offers a monthly payment plan for the Fall and Spring semesters through Touchnet found in their myfairmontstate account.
• The plan allows equal monthly installments over the semester rather than paying the entire balance at one time.
• For the Fall semester ,the plan timeframe is 6 installments from July to December.
• For the Spring semester, the plan timeframe is 6 installments from January to June.

Enrolling in the payment plan is fast and easy!

1. Log into the myFairmontState Account
2. Under Quick Links Select Touchnet PROD
3. Click Enroll in Payment Plan and complete the application by filling out all the necessary fields
   1. Enter a payment type - credit/debit card (additional fees will apply) or checking/savings account (no addition fees will apply)
   2. Schedule all payments to complete the setup

Automatic payment deduction on the 10th of each month is required to be on the Payment Plan. You will need to enter a valid credit/debit card number (additional fees will apply) or checking/savings information so that your payment will be made each month on the 10th. 

• Late Fees -  You could incur late fees from Fairmont State University if the payment is not made on the 10th of each month
• Changes in Bill - Your monthly amounts may increase or decrease depending on your account activity. For example, if you receive financial aid, private scholarships, charge books or add/drop classes.

• Fall Semester
  • Enroll by July 10th - to schedule 6 equal monthly installments
• Spring Semester 
  • Enroll by January 10th - to schedule 6 equal monthly installments
