Graduate Programs

The School of Education, Health and Human Performance offers two graduate degrees and one certificate-only program:

MASTER OF ARTS IN TEACHING (MAT)

The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree is designed for college graduates with a Bachelors degree in liberal arts, fine arts, or professional  fields to attain initial teacher licensure in a secondary or comprehensive content field.

MASTER OF EDUCATION (M.Ed.)

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree includes five concentrations designed to meet the needs of college graduates seeking to enhance their career opportunities through advanced study.  Please view the links for information on individual programs.

CERTIFICATE-ONLY

The certificate-only Reading Specialist program is available for candidates who hold a teaching license.
