College Application and Exploration Week: Tweet WhyIChose

This week, Oct. 20 through 24, is West Virginia's fifth annual “College Application and Exploration Week.” Nearly 240 elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and adult basic education sites across the state have signed up to participate this year.

The College Foundation of West Virginia (CFWV) is asking current college students and alumni to help spread the word about the opportunities a college education can provide. Share your college story and inspire others by posting on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook using the hashtag #WhyIChose.

Mention @CFWV on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and you will be entered for a chance to win in a daily prize drawings.

• Why you chose to pursue education and training beyond high school,
• Why you chose your particular college or career and technical school, or
• Why you chose your major or program.
