PostSecret on Campus on Dec. 3

The Office of Student Activities, which serves the students of Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College, is hosting a presentation by Frank Warren of PostSecret on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, in Colebank Hall Gym. Tickets are free for FSU and Pierpont students, who must pick up their tickets at the Box Office and show a valid student ID. The Box Office is located on the fourth floor of Wallman Hall. Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; the last day to purchase tickets is Nov. 22. FSU and Pierpont employees and the general public may purchase tickets for $10 per person through the Box Office by calling (304) 367-4240. All tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Founded in 2005 by Frank Warren, PostSecret is an ongoing community mail art project. People mail secrets anonymously on a homemade postcard, and some secrets are posted on the PostSecret web site or blog at www.postsecret.com. There are five PostSecret books, three traveling art exhibits and short films posted on vimeo at http://vimeo.com/user2718305.
