Family Movie Night & Food Drive on Nov. 5 Features "Toy Story 3"

Nov 04, 2010

Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College Student Government is sponsoring a Free Family Movie Night and Food Drive on Friday, Nov 5.

The Disney Pixar movie "Toy Story 3" will be shown at 6 p.m. in Colebank Hall gym. Admission is free and open to the public. Families are welcome. Parking will be available on the top level of the parking garage.

Those who attend are asked to bring one canned food item to donate to local food pantries.

"Student Government was very thrilled at the positive turnout last fall for the "Up!" Family Movie and Food Drive event and are excited to offer another popular movie event to families in the Fairmont area," said Laurie Johnston, Director of Student Activities.

"The movie night and food drive combined effort also helps provide an opportunity for our youth in the community to contribute to the local food pantries. We are very fortunate to have such a giving local community. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend."
