The Fairmont State University Falcon Marching Band will present its annual Stadium Review Concert in Colebank Hall on the main campus of Fairmont State on Friday, November 9, at 7:30p.m. The concert will feature selections from our 2018 halftime show (West Side Story), pregame show, and stands music repertoire. The concert is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
The Fairmont State University Falcon Marching Band will present its annual Stadium Review Concert in Colebank Hall at Fairmont State University at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14. The concert will feature music from the pregame and halftime shows, and include stadium favorites as well.
Whether it’s on the field or in a parade, you can hear Will Johnston’s trumpet.
Johnston, who has played trumpet since fifth grade, now plays trumpet for both the Fairmont State University marching band and jazz band. On the field, he is assisted by Nicole Davis, a volunteer who does not receive class credit for her actions.
Born with osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as brittle bone syndrome, Johnston uses a wheelchair.

The Fairmont State University Marching Band continues to grow, but band members need your help to look as good as they sound. First impressions matter, and the band wants to “Dress to Impress.”
The Fairmont State Alumni Association, Office of Institutional Advancement, the Fairmont State Foundation, the FSU Department of Music, the FSU Marching Band and the Fairmont State Band Alumni Association are inviting the community to participate in a fund drive to purchase new band uniforms.
