Reception Planned for May 2013 Graduating International Students

The Office of International Student Services, in collaboration with the International Education Committee, will host a reception for international students who are graduating from Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College.

The event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, in Room 303 of the Education Building. The reception is open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

International Festival 2013 Kicks Off on April 15

As part of International Festival 2013, Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College will celebrate global culture on campus.

Planned for Monday, April 15, through Thursday, April 18, the weeklong festival is organized by the Office of International Student Services with the participation of the International Education Committee, International Student Organization and Study Abroad Program, along with the sponsorship by FSU President Maria Rose and Student Government.

Reception to Celebrate International Graduates

On Friday, Dec. 14, the Office of International Student Services, in collaboration with the International Education Committee, will host a reception for international students graduating from Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College in December 2012.

The reception will take place in Room 303 of the Education Building from noon to 1:30 p.m. Graduating international students from Korea, Nepal and Saudi Arabia will be recognized and celebrated.

The Office of International Student Services, in collaboration with the International Education Committee, will host a reception for international students who are graduating from Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College.

The event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. Friday, May 11, in Room 303 of the Education Building. The reception is open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

Seven graduating students from China, Japan, Nepal and the United Kingdom will be recognized and celebrated.
