- Full Time - defined as 12 or more credit hours each term
- Tuition - based on the location of all classes being on the main campus
- Books/Supplies - equal to the average from a random sample of student schedules
- On-Campus Room/Board - average room costs for college residence hall and meal plan
- Off-Campus Room/Board - equals the average rent for the academic year, including reasonable utilities, and an average monthly cost for food
- Transportation - an amount sufficient to cover daily driving costs to classes and minimal trips to permanent residence
- Personal - miscellaneous personal items for the academic year; commuter budget also includes an allowance for costs associated with maintaining student in parents' household

Rates are per credit hour up to 11 hours for Undergraduates and up to 8 credit hours for Graduate students. Undergrads registered for 12 hours or more and Graduates registered for 9 hours or more are considered to be full time, please refer to the tuition and fee chart for full time. The charges below are tuition and fees that are assessed to all students. Rates may vary depending on Admit type. Not included are special fees or course fees that are attached to certain courses for supplies, materials, labs, etc.
