Microsoft Word 2007

   Part A  Learn to create and save a document;  accept or reject suggested revisions for spelling and grammar as you type; change page margins and adjust spacing by deleting any extra spaces between words or extra lines between paragraphs; use headers and footers, bullets, backgrounds, borders, graphics, and use templates.
Part B Learn to revise documents, create automatic table of contents, and use the mail merge feature. You will also discover keyboard shortcuts, how to protect your data, and learn the complete ribbon feature new to Word 2007!

Digital Photography I

   This hands-on workshop covers it all!  Starting with photography basics, we’ll quickly move on to mastering the features of your digital camera with easy-to-understand, straight forward language.   Learn the tips and tricks of composition from photography experts, to help you take better pictures for a variety of subjects and settings.  Finally, you will have a chance to practice what you have learned and get valuable feedback from the instructor.   Part A

Part B

Learn to use your calendar to its full potential, track multiple schedules at once, and manage your contacts; create business cards, and use the Outlook Junk E-mail Filter.

Part B Learn to create PivotTable reports that organize, summarize, and analyze your data to reveal its meanings. Learn how to filter and display selected data in PivotTable reports, how to export data to your SharePoint, and much more!

SLR Photography

   Learn how your camera works and how to consistently expose film or sensor.  Explore setting the shutter, aperture and meter; determining which ISO film or sensor setting to use; and working with the flash, lenses and filters.  Improve your compositions and intensify your sense of seeing, creating and self-expression.  Required: SLR camera (film or DSLR) with full manual capability must be brought to all classes.  Digital Photography I strongly encouraged.  Instructor: Belmear

Microsoft Access 2007

  Part A

Learn to decide when to use Access instead of Excel; how to download and use templates; how to create and use forms and reports; how to use the navigation pane; how to create the queries that extract data, add calculations, and make it easier to create forms and reports.

Part B Learn to make modifications to databases that you created from a template; use built-in sorting and filtering tools; collect data for your database by using e-mail messages, and also have Access ask for input, then filter the results of a query to match that input.
