NEW STUDENTS
If you have never attended any other educational institution (for example, vocational school or another college), you are a new student and must:
- Make formal application and be admitted in a degree or certificate granting program.
- Assure that the admissions office has received and reviewed your official high school grade transcripts, GED scores, or ability to benefit test scores, whichever is appropriate.
- Be at least a half time student (six to eight hours). A less than half time student may be eligible for a Pell Grant and other funds such as the Higher Education Adult Part-Time Student Grant (WV Residents only).
- File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
