NONTRADITIONAL STUDENT CONCERNS:
A primary objective of the Caperton Center is to make courses accessible to nontraditional students. The historical definition of "nontraditional student" is "one who is over the age of 25." Today, the definition more broadly refers to students who:
To accomplish the objective of making courses accessible, the Caperton Center offers daytime, evening, weekend, and online courses. In addition, administrative offices are open from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Parking is available on site, and the facility is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations.
The faculty and staff at the Gaston Caperton Center strive to help all students make the transition to college as stress-free as possible.
